Cloud computing

I'm sure most of you have all heard about cloud computing, a revolutionary but some what has always been around technology that is changing the way Internet service is provided.

I too, had heard about it but not until I had to write a 10 page handwritten report on techology did I learn more about it. I hate homework...but I love that it makes me learn :). And of course, waiting till the last minute to write this paper hasn't helped (typical student behaviour).

But the more I learn about cloud computing, the more I realize how cool it is. Briefly, Cloud computing is Internet-based computing, whereby shared resources, software, and information are provided to computers and other devices on demand, as with the electricity grid. Details are abstracted from consumers, who no longer have need for expertise in, or control over, the technology infrastructure "in the cloud" that supports them.Cloud computing describes a new supplement, consumption, and delivery model for IT services based on the Internet, and it typically involves over-the-Internet provision of dynamically scalable and often virtualized resources.

I know I lost some of you just there. But I think cloud computing is amazing and I just want to blog a little about it. After this report (I'm now on Page 7 out of 10..I'm soooo tired), I can become your cloud computing resource person..:). If you need to know anything, contact me!
